BIO
Mr Olonde is a strategic leader, a scholar and a competent Land Economics professional having both technical and research competencies spanning eighteen (18) years of accumulated work experience in both private sector and public service. He has risen through the ranks in the Kenyan public service to become an astute technical advisor on valuation, land management, housing and urban development and related matters in the government.
Currently, He is a PhD Candidate at the University of Cape Town, Department of Construction Economics and Management with a research interest in housing and urban development in developing countries. He pursued a Master Degree Programme in Real Estate, Planning and Regeneration (with a major in Real Estate) from the University of Glasgow, the United Kingdom, and a Bachelors Degree in Land Economics from the University of Nairobi, Kenya.
Additionally, Mr Olonde holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Land Management and Informal Settlement Regularization (LMISR) from Erasmus University Rotterdam (IHS), Netherlands; and Certificates in Housing Finance and Public-Private Partnership from the University of Cape Town, South Africa and The World Bank Group respectively.
