Bernard Nzau holds PhD in Built Environment from the University of Salford, United Kingdom; Master of Science in Geo-information Science for Land administration from ITC, the Netherlands and Bachelor of arts in Land Economics from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. Between 1997 and 2016. He worked in senior positions in the Ministry of Lands and National Land Commission in Nairobi before going into private practice and consultancy. Between April 2018 and March 2019, he was a Marie-Curie researcher under the H2020 MAPS LED project at the San Diego State University, USA. Dr Nzau research interests are in affordable housing, with a specific interest in innovative Inclusionary Housing and Land Value Capture tools.
